I was developing something on the Israel/Palestine conflict, but then Republicans in the Senate voted to reject the UN Treaty on the rights of the disabled, a move so cartoonishly evil and idiotic, I felt I ought to address it, first.
Since Republicans also defeated a bill aimed at providing jobs to veterans back in September, I felt I could get a twofer with this cartoon by making the disabled character in it a wounded soldier.
